In our neighbourhood’s today there are plenty of young people who need “something else to do” and “someone else to notice them and encourage them”.
As Kevin and the team provide programmes, sessions and activities Ignite Sports work in schools has the potential to be life-changing for young people and has changed lives, with important messages about how unique and important each one of them is, that they have been given skills and talents to develop and use to the best of their ability, how they can first lead them self by taking responsibility for their actions and then how they can lead others.
Ignite Sports work in schools is continuing to grow in response to an increasing demand from local sports co-ordinators, principals and teachers and we need more people to get involved.
We all have the opportunity to make a difference for the young people in our neighbourhood, we just need to take the first step.
