Ignite Sport represented at the ACE Conference – Orlando.

    Kevin recently attended the recent ‘Ace Conference’ facilitated by the International Sports Coalition. 550 delegates from 130 countries attended the conference including 10 from New Zealand. This provided a tremendous opportunity for Ignite Sport to gain valuable insights into current world wide trends in using sport to make a difference in communities and cities globally. The conference also provided a useful opportunity to network with other sports-focused organisations.

    Ignite Sport Farewells Pua Coffman

    In December we said goodbye to Pua Coffman after a year working as an Intern at Ignite Sport. We were incredibly fortunate to have someone of Pua’s quality and calibre working with us. Her passion for God, sport and young people brought to our team a unique quality not often seen in young people.  Pua had roles at Naenae College coaching the women’s football team and assisting with the planning and delivery of our ‘in school’ programmes and other Ignite Sport events. We wish Pua the very best for her future back with friends and family in Tennessee.

    Visit to King College, Bristol, Ts

    Kevin recently visited King College, the university in which our 2011 Intern Pua Coffman graduated from. Kevin had an opportunity to speak to three Youth Ministry classes and give input at FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) at both King College and Tennessee High School.
